Inspired by a Blockhead recipe competition submission, this naughty Chilli Cheese Dog comes with all the trimmings. You can't beat the classics.
INGREDIENTS
  • 1 Chilli Block 
  • 1 Hotdog Roll 
  • 1 Sausage/Frankfurter 
  • 1 Large Gherkin 
  • Small Pinch Fresh Coriander 
  • 20g Finely Grated Cheddar 
  • Tbsp Crispy Onions
  • Ketchup
  • American Mustard
COOKING METHOD
  1. Heat up your chilli block in the microwave or on the hob until piping hot.
  2. Heat your sausage of choice by following the manufacturer’s instructions.
  3. Meanwhile, finely dice the gherkin and roughly chop the coriander. Mix these together in a small bowl and set aside.
  4. Once the sausage is cooked, place it in the hotdog bun followed by the hot chilli.
  5. Top with grated cheese, diced pickle, ketchup, mustard and finally the crispy onions.
